FlipBrief is a free daily newsletter and website covering Pokemon TCG sealed cases, B-Stock liquidation pallets, and the secondary concert ticket market. To keep the brief free for readers, FlipBrief participates in affiliate programs. This page explains how that works and what readers should know.
What affiliate links are
When FlipBrief recommends a product, deal, or retailer, the outbound link may be an affiliate link. If a reader clicks that link and completes a purchase, the retailer pays FlipBrief a small commission. The price the reader pays is the same as if they had visited the retailer directly. There is no markup or added cost to the reader.
Programs FlipBrief participates in
FlipBrief works with several affiliate networks and direct retailer programs. These include but are not limited to:
Skimlinks — a network that automatically converts outbound retailer links to affiliate links across thousands of merchants including Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Target, and others.
Amazon Associates — commissions on qualifying Amazon purchases.
Direct partnerships with retailers in the reselling space, including TCGplayer, B-Stock, StubHub, and similar marketplaces, where FlipBrief is approved as a publisher.
Coverage decisions are independent
FlipBrief’s editorial recommendations are based on the deal, the retailer’s reputation, and what we believe is genuinely useful to readers. We do not promote products solely because they generate higher commissions, and we do not accept payment from brands in exchange for editorial coverage. If a deal is bad, we say so, regardless of whether the retailer has an affiliate program.
What this means for readers
Reading FlipBrief is free. Clicking an outbound link in FlipBrief is free. If a reader chooses to buy through one of those links, the retailer pays FlipBrief a commission and the reader pays the standard retail price. Readers are never required to use affiliate links, and FlipBrief content is the same whether links are clicked or not.
Identifying affiliate links
In compliance with the FTC’s Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255), FlipBrief discloses its affiliate relationships clearly. Most posts that contain affiliate links include a disclosure note in the closing paragraph. The entire site is covered by the blanket disclosure on this page.
